Booby Cream

This is an entry I meant to finish forever ago!!

I decided to make my own Booby Cream because (you guessed it!!) I don't trust the chemicals in the grocery store. So I found a simple recipe, bought the ingredients and got started.

You need:

Baby Box

It's exactly like it sounds. It's just a box you put your baby in! Just kidding!!!

While I was looking at ideas on organizing the nursery I ran across this little gem: organizing paperwork. It was one of those moments where you slap your hand against your head, like 'really? All my life I've been trying to organize my own paperwork, and the answer is so simple!!"

So I went ahead and made one for SweetPea since getting started on organizing all of her paperwork now will be so much easier than waiting for it be to lost everywhere like mine is. I do plan on making one for myself, but it will be much smaller since I'm past the growing up stage!

Free Tuesdays: Non Skid Socks

Non-Skid socks are so fun! Not to mention they can save you from falling on your butt, or save your little one! Many mommas suggest packing a pair or two in your hospital bag. They are great if you walk around, keeping you from (obviously falling) and from getting your feets extra dirty and cold.

A Forgotten Finished DIY

A few weeks, well just over a month now, I told you guys about an entertainment center I was redoing. Turning it into a storage center? I love that thing! It is so helpful. Granted there is still a lot of space I have yet to utilize. Hopefully I will be completely organized before SweetPea gets here.

Free Tuesday: Baby Shower Invites

I made these things all on my own. It is great to save a little extra money this way! The cost of the invites came down to ONLY being the cost of postage, about $11.50. (That's a guestimate I can't remember exactly how many I sent out). Making them only .46cents each.

Duffel Bag

This was a piece of cake compared to my diaper bag. Probably because I wasn't in the mood to get all fancy with it! I can say though I will definitely be making another one of these!

Diaper Bag

Finally. Finally this bad boy is done. I guess bad girl? I decided to use a pattern I had found while bing-ing diaper bags. But It wasn't the diaper bag I had in mind, so I envisioned and designed another. I also I came across a pattern with straps for strollers, so I decided that I would adapt that as well.

First Craft of the New Apartment

Guess what?? I did my first real craft for the new apartment!! It's done one thirds of the way, but the other two thirds will be a piece of cake and I should have it done before Monday!! That's actually a little hopeful. I'll tell you why in just a second...

Gardening

I love plants. I love gardens. I love greenery.

Cheap (pregnancy) Pamper

Everyone is addicted to Pinterest. Why not? There are tons of cute ideas, inspirations and how-to's for stuff you don't even need.

Girls we tend to go to the beauty tab quite a lot!! There are tons of ideas and such for us!! I love nail designs! But I don't like the smells of the nail salons, or the prices. I may not have a ton of polishes at home but I do love what I have!!
