Whether or not you write them down, or tell others there is a strong chance that you will make New Years Resolutions. Lose weight, read more, cook at home more yada-yada. Generally the resolutions are generic, yet occasionally meaningful and inspiring. I don't think I shared mine last year, and the only reason I'm sharing them this year is so that I can keep myself accountable through you.

2016
Every new year hold the sparkle of excitement, newness, and wonder.
Yet the 2016 is holding the sparkle of beautiful and exciting wanderlust.
With the New Year there is already a loose yet slightly substantial schedule of things I'm so eager to accomplish, see, create, and achieve. It is all so exciting; I can't wait for January 1st to arrive so I can take everyone on the amazing journey it will be!

2014 was...
Something I am ready to move on from.
Plenty of good days, tons of them.
Yet looking back all I can see are the lost days, the countless hours spent working.
Unfortunately 2015 is offering the same allure of hours, if not more, away from the house. My goal is to have a very set schedule, well as set as a toddler will allow. Although there seems to be a silver lining, the first few months are going to be quite busy.
Aside from my beautiful LittleMiss as a very good distraction, there is a gentleman who has caught my attention. haha I say gentleman, and mean it. He has been nothing but polite thus far. Even asking about LittleMiss. We have agreed that we will not be putting any pressures or expectation on anything, as he is only guaranteed to be in Arkansas for the next six months.
I'm staying optimistic about 2015, I even set a few goals {can't do resolutions, I tend to rebel against them}.
::2015 Goals::
- Gym/Yoga 3-5times a week
- Start Charity
- Bible Study 5-7times a week
- XXXX profit from my boutique
- Keep my house consistently clean
- Become an almost Minimalist
- Potty train LittleMiss
- Write to LittleMiss 3-4times a week
- Completely Paleo//Glutenfree
- Start making Almond milk
- Start canning/making fermented foods
- Paint once a month
- 3.0GPA
- Teach LittleMiss colors/shapes/alphabet
- Relearn French
- Blog post 3-5times a week
- Refill my savings
hahaha That doesn't seem like too much does it? ;)
Other than that, my New Years Eve was brought in decently enough. Left work about 1145pm and had some laughs with the fantastic friends who were watching LittleMiss. Once she woke up, the fun really started: toddler dancing is the best ever.

As all working parents know, there really isn't anything better to get me through my day or my shift as seeing/receiving photos of my baby.

All Hallows Eve
'Twas a cool night as the pumpkin was placed on the dining table, warm conversation going on all around it, everyone sounded happy. The home was warm and cozy.
When all of a sudden the pumpkin felt a sharp searing pain, hearing the pumpkin next to it let out a silent shriek of terror.
But seriously, I had a lot of fun carving pumpkins. Unfortunately LittleMiss was too tuckered out to join in.
Speaking of LittleMiss, the above is her as a pre-halloween Chocolate Monster. Truly it was scary.
My LittleMonster was a great helper when we ran errands on Halloween Day. She even loved her little ladybug baby doll from her GGE. Whenever her little horns fell off she was very sure to let me know so that they could be put back on right away. We were even able to get a few pieces of candy when did a quick trip to the Samaritan House Thrift shop. Even as a little monster this girl is able to steal the attention of anyone walking by.
LittleMiss had so much fun trying to keep up with her BigBrother while trick-r-treating. The best part was honestly, whenever the houses would open their doors the tiny Monster thought she could just go right on in.
But because Halloween was far too cold for such a tiny Monster to be out for long we came back to Grammy's and tried a few pieces of candy.
The next morning, all cleaned up and happy to still be with Mommy, MK, Grammy and BigBrother, she was even happier to have pancakes stuffed with yummy apples.
LittleMonsters have big appetites.
Once we got home from such a busy morning, I decided not to let the fun end there: LittleMiss had more costumes to try.
And of course a 'parents Halloween' was planned as well. I even managed to run into a really good friend of mine while out and about.
I'm not going to lie, for doing my make up myself, and having about an hour to do so I feel like it turned out pretty well.
I honestly can't wait until next year so that LittleMiss can have some more say so on her Halloween outfits.

A quick New Years Recap
I love glitter.
I love sparkles.
& I really wish that my New Years had had more of it. Well any of it really! Hopefully next year will have some shine {and a few holidays in between}. Either way I really did have fun New Years Eve!
Okay, I didn't look that good at the end of night but that is how I looked at midnight.
This beautiful gal was able to land us tickets to the Crystal Bridges night of fun. Besides some tasty food, a {great} pear cocktail, and what could have been lots of free drinks, there were not many people. More older than younger actually. And it was very awkward when grannies started grinding. Not to mention my feet were killing me from my high heels. We went down to get our coats, ran across some fun items for the Crystal Bridge attendees.
See that? It's not part of a car, a UFO or a flash light. It is a fun lighted barrette Miss Barr and I made.
Look close you can barely see the outline of her smiling face. We ran home just before eleven, I threw on jeans and favorite sweater {pictured above}and some tenni-shoes. Let me tell you, the shoes were a beautiful choice!! Then we quickly headed to Dickson, where I saw so many fantastic people I hadn't seen for a year.
The two guys on the right were my favorite strangers that night, I never said a word and only gazed upon them for a meager 10minutes. Why were they my favorite? Because of the beards, the hair, and the casual confidence.
The night was really fun, tons of laughter.
Ohmygosh did I miss this kid New Years Night!
I ended up staying awake 24hours. Once Miss Barr and I got home at 4AM, I crashed into bed only to wake up at 10AM, missing LittleMiss like crazy. I laid in bed a few moments trying to decide if I wanted to actually get dressed or throw on a pair of shorts. The shorts won out. It was fantastic to see her smile as I walked in the door.

August Birthdays
August is like a month long holiday: constant cake.
It honestly feels like my entire family is born in August. Really it's about 80% of them, with the addition of my daughter soon. It's a little bit stressful. Oh did I mention I also have several friends whose birthday also happens to be in August? Because I do. There are maybe 8 days where no one is born in August. Not counting my daughter because really she can show up whenever she wants. Which from my consistent contractions, will be soon.
Anyways my moms birthday is tomorrow. She leads the August Birthday Army. My mom along with a good friend, Krum, share a birthday. Which is no biggy really. But then the manager of the storage unit I work part time asks if I can work a full day tomorrow. hmmm....

Fourth of July
Did you guys have fun? Find a good show of fireworks or did you have your own show at home??
My day wasn't too exciting really! I finished two headbands and a scarf as well as did a little bit of cleaning. After that I spent most of the day with my parents at there house! Sadly, my mom and I got into several fights through-out the day. I love her, and I love when we get along, but every now and then we fight. Easily and a lot. There are a ton of ways, especially natural, that I try to help her with

Hey Mommas!
How was your mothers day?? Was it your first? Second? Twenty-third??
Did you get anything special, out of the ordinary, or just special for you?

My last year NOT being the Easter Bunny
I realized this morning while driving to church. That no longer am I an innocent Easter bystander. Now it is upon my shoulders to provide the eggs and goodies for my little one and most importantly: ensure that she knows the real and true meaning of Easter.

Thanksgiving Photos!!
look at that smile!!
PaPa and Lil J!(my nephew)
add about five or six more people to the equation and you have us all!
Poor baby did not leave my side. I'm not sure WHAT the kids fed him but he was so very sick today! Poor baby! At first I was pretty frustrated, but I was more worried to be honest.
Me being tortured! Two kids were braiding my hair and the one in purple wanted me to braid her hair. Do you know how hard it is to braid someones hair while you have TWO kids braiding yours??? it ain't easy. ;)

my awesome work!
I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I know first hand that the holidays are difficult and stressful. Family members don't always get together, food gets burned, things are spilt...so on and so on. But at the end of it, it usually ends well. We leave with memories, some bad, most good. We also get a whole new year to be thankful for new and old things.
Peacock wasn't able to make it to my family feast, which while it sucks, I still had fun. I know his family feast wasn't the best, but I know he still had a few fun moments. Plus I know his little boy had fun.
If you follow me on twitter you'll have seen a few pictures and a few posts on lost of food!! Ugh I was sooo stuffed and so thankful for my lactaid pills. I popped around four yesterday!! and they helped!!
Well I am going to get back to working on Christmas Presents!! Sweet Dreams Y'all!!!
