Diaper Bag

Finally. Finally this bad boy is done. I guess bad girl? I decided to use a pattern I had found while bing-ing diaper bags. But It wasn't the diaper bag I had in mind, so I envisioned and designed another. I also I came across a pattern with straps for strollers, so I decided that I would adapt that as well.

I decided to have the strap long so that I would be able to use it on one shoulder or across my chest, which ever is easier/more comfortable.

On the front I put a pocket. I love pockets, I also love to always have a pen/pencil and paper with me. Not mention it can hold important papers/tickets and money depending on where we go.

I also decided to put pockets on the sides. I love pockets. These will be great for snacks and bottles. Especially snacks for me while breast feeding ;)

This is actually supposed to be in inside picture! I decided to put pockets on both sides for more organization.

This is just a little snap shot of the snaps I used.

Now I will be honest, this is my first bag I've sewn, this is the first time I have sewn in about 3or 4years. And while I did have a few slip ups (entirely my fault and will NOT be repeated) I learned a lot. If there is enough interest I may share the pattern that I used, but I am selling custom diaper bags.

I chose this fabric/color combination because while it's feminine when I have children in the future it will be good for a boy. Chevron is also a pattern that keeps coming back, so I have a feeling this will still be in style a few years from now.

If you're interested in purchasing a bag please contact me! I will be selling bags alone or as a bundle with different items: nursing cover, diaper clutch or diaper and wipe band, changing pad,2-4pacifier clips, a travel wet bag, 5postpartum mama cloth, 1door silencer. There will be other items added, and of course it's custom!

---edit---

I almost forgot about this! This is the inside detailing of the pockets. I love it!
