Early to Class

Here I am again, early for Communications Class.

Lets see....

Nannying has now been dropped to just Tuesdays. Which is perfect! I am failing algebra and think I finally found a tutor!!! Yay! But LG's parents completely understand that I need to focus on school work and have agreed to let me just nanny on Tuesday and her Poppy will pick her up on Thursdays. LG is doing much better at minding me and letting me do some of my school work while I'm watching her. Next month is her birthday so I'll be getting her a new chapter book! She really enjoys reading and loves horses so the book will be a children's chapter book about horses. :)

My diet has been consisting of coffee and fruits.

And veggies. It's all I have time for anymore. Not to mention I hate to cook for just myself; if I had someone over, I would cook for a few hours and not worry about it. So hopefully I can talk a friend into coming over so I can do just that. The plan will probably be to cook tons so I don't have to cook and just grab n go on days I don't have time, or energy for that matter.

A few necessities I'll be needing to get ASAP are: a coffee maker, microwave, storage dishes, mop, broom/ dust pan and vacuum. Along with a Dutch Oven because I have been craving chocolate covered coffee beans since I did that last coffee post! Oh how I am addicted.

Post-Valentines Day Recap & More :)

Lets see my Valentines started off rough.

I had a test in College Algebra. That I passed with a "D". Better than I thought but worst than I would have liked. And because I knew that I had pretty well bombed it and had gotten VERY little sleep the night before from studying; I was not in a good mood for the first part of the day.

Then! This happened!

 

I got to make this cookie!!! Ain't she a beaut?? It made my day, it really did.  Not to mention I got to do this:

That one on the right!? That was  another persons cookie I got to draw a pretty heart on! He was a cool guy looked familiar, but I don't think I knew him. I was going to save it and give it to Army Friend, who I was going to be having lunch with just after. But I ate it. That cookie was darn tasty too!! mmm-mmm good! I tried to take a picture of the sparkles in the black on my cookie, I just couldn't get a could picture! :/  

Then at lunch with my Army Friend I got this!! Carnations are definitely one of my favorite flowers! This one is so so very pretty! Lunch was so good! I'm so glad I was able to have lunch with him! Army Friend has actually just returned home on leave from being over seas. I was so glad to see him and see he was in one piece! Catching up was great. 

 LG (the little girl I nanny) gave me a few of those little heart candies! And that added to how good my day was. It had been sooo long since I'd have them!

But later that night, once her mom came home, I had to put in my "two weeks". I put that in quotation marks because I'm going to go ahead and give them all the time they need(up to a month) to find a new nanny. Like I've previously stated, I barely slid by on my math test. I'm barely passing the class as is. She understood, which was a big big help, because I felt like crying. It was not an easy task for me to have to put those two weeks in. But I'm just so over extended; I'm working way more than 40hrs a week at the furniture store, I'm going to class for 13hours a week and I'm nannying. Not to mention I've got a lot going on with The Family; God knows I have been slacking on that area and really hope that they forgive me.  So hopefully they will be able to find a replacement ASAP.

Here is LGs' Valentines Box she made for school.  Well this is it AFTER the car ride home. Isn't it still so cute? She did a great job. 

 

And HERE! Are the roses that I got from my Policemen friend L! Not to mention he also gave me deer and elk meat! Woo Hoo! And I got to take my puppy-doggy home! Oh how I have missed her! I hadn't seen Duchess since October. She is my baby and that was just waaaay to long!

Well last night I found out that my step dad was in heart surgery. That I had no idea about until oh twenty minutes before it was over. Yeah that added a BUNCH of stress to my day. But the doctors said they found no blockage and no damage. So they still don't know why he's having problems.

Aw Valentines Day,

How you are loved and hated by so so many. I personally am indifferent to you. Although you do make things very fun. But it's an interesting pressure you put on people.

Any-who I know that that was a cheesy little letter but it came out before I could stop it. I have always been pretty indifferent to Valentines Day; I think that in a relationship, you should not just wait for one or two days of the year to celebrate each other, it should happen at least once a month or once every two months. But that's just me. ;)

Not to mention, I notice a hard working country boy before I notice a guy in a thousand dollar suit. Like I said, that's just me.

I also find that roses are not my favorite flower and are a bit cliche. Beautiful as they are, they just aren't me.

I'm a simple kinda girl in a complex kinda way, and I enjoy it. ;)

Well I was going to do a mini recap of the day, but I think I'll just build up the anticipation, and do it tomorrow. That way you'll have the full effect.

The Netherlands

My Fundamentals of Communication's Professor has required we do a presentation on a country we're never been to before. My group has decided on the Netherlands, which is actually a pretty interesting country. Did you know that they do not answer the phone with "hello"? In fact this is a bit rude. The preferred greeting is your first name, your last name or your first AND last name.

According to the CIA, there are more women with jobs than men. And they are the leading export in American Ecstasy. Very interesting. Oh how I would love to travel Europe. Definitely need to do it before it gets too bad around those parts! lol

Well I think Josh and I have officially decided to just be friends for now. It's..I don't know how I feel about it. He said a few things that cut a little deep, and I said nothing. There's a sneaking suspicion we haven't forgiven each other for things. As much as I hate it I don't know that it will ever happen again. But time will tell, we'll see. Besides all I really need right now is friendship, I'm way to busy for anything more than that.

I'm pretty darn excited about Sunday!! Walking Dead returns!! Um sheesh I'm pretty blah right now. I've got a horrible sinus migraine. I'm sorry! Hope you have a great rest of your day!

Weekly Loves

Until I can get internet at....MY NEW APARTMENT!!! I'll be doing weekly loves either Tuesdays or Thursday.
