This is something that has been long and coming. I'm sure I have spoken about it a few times, touched on it once or twice, but never really talked about it. On here anyways. Remember Peacock? There are a few postings of him, but I never actually talked about him or how we met. It was all out of respect to him. His situation.
Ha, where do I really start with this.... Ugh this is going to be long.

Peeing while Pregnant
Peeing before pregnant wasn't even that fun. Now as you're getting bigger, it gets even less fun. Let's start with the first trimester: You will pee a lot during the night. At least that's how it was for me. Second trimester: You will notice your bladder is full more as baby likes to hit and kick it out of it's way. 'Hey ma, I want my room back. Do you mind??' That's how I would like to think it goes any way. Now, fair warning, some of you will pee yourselves. I am very thankful that I am not privy to that pregnancy side effect.

Broccoli Quesadilla??
I would like to think that this will be toddler approved. Because I love it. And if I love it, SweetPea is going to have to eat it. Right? ;)
About a two weeks ago, I bought some broccoli to make Broccoli Cheddar Bites (don't worry at some point I will make this and give you the recipe!!). Needless to say I have not made the bites. I would like to blame it on the fact that my shredder is still lost in transition from moving. Either way I needed to use it, wanted to use it and am kinda craving it.

Peanut Butter
That's what I should call this child in my womb, not SweetPea. All I can think about is peanut butter. Smooth creamy delicious peanut butter. By it's self, on icecream, in icecream, in cookies, in sandwhiches, in smoothies, by it's self. Wait I already said that... It's been...I don't know maybe two weeks since I've had any. Look at me!! I sound like an addict!! Quite literally all I crave, have craved for this whole pregnancy, is peanut butter and avocado.

Pooping.
I really did try to think of another way to title this post. Going the direct route seemed to be the best! Plus I'm sure it will catch your attention. ;) This is a post for pregnancy and after birth. (another bit of research I've done)
Most pregnant ladies have this problem. I won't lie I've had a day or two where I can't say I've gone. Being constipated can be very uncomfortable and unhealthy. A great way of fighting constipation is to stay hydrated. As well as eat a healthy diet with lots of fiber!

Varicose Veins
Although not very pretty, varicose veins practically affect everyone. Women tend to get them especially when pregnant. But don't worry girls after birth it is 'reported' that most will go away. Varicose Veins are swollen veins, that generally develop or worsen when pregnant. Since pregnant women have a higher blood volume the pressure is pretty high in our legs, since the circulatory system is trying to pump the blood back to our heart.
Baby Research
I have been working on my registry ((almost)) all day. And in just doing that I am fighting off a headache and doing a ridiculous amount of research. Don't worry, I will share quite a lot of it with you!! From diapers, to rash creams, to breast feeding tips, to room décor. It's a bit overwhelming, so I am going to try to keep it sectioned. No promises though. Not to mention I will revise it. Fix it, adjust it, and add more to it.
Lets see first off....

SweetPeas Registry
This is going to seem a bit complicated at first, but really this way makes it easier for all of us. I have decided to do a registry on Pinterest. I am on a tight budget, just like I know all of you are. Not to mention, I would rather be as local (for all areas), as low impact to the environment and as budget friendly as possible. Here are a few very important things to keep in mind:

Unknown Exhaustion and Pain Relief
Last night I went to a prayer meeting with some girlfriends at a fantastic local coffee shop! But about half an hour into our get together little miss SweetPea would not stop pushing up on part of my ribs. I was pushing and prodding back to no avail. New mommas let me tell you, that is very almost painfully uncomfortable. My biggest fear (because I know a woman this happened to) is that she may brake or crack one of my ribs.
New Immigration Bill
I am really glad I was able to coax myself out of bed this morning and have the chance to watch my local news. Just before it was over they touched on the new immigration law. It was great to see a well dressed Asian young man speak passionately on wanting to become a citizen, wanting to contribute.

Oklahoma Tornados
Sadly my neighboring state lost several lives yesterday into last night. It's something I hope to never have to deal with. News crews have informed you well of everything that is going on and what happened, so I'll spare you the details. But I will ask you to pray for the families and help if you can. Maybe donate some time or some money to the local charities out there.
I was definitely worried that the storm may stay or come through my part of town. I was even more worried for Miss OKC, but thank God she and her little family were fine!!

Future glimpse heart attack
I'm sitting folding baby washcloths ad thought about the day I may actually go on a date... I'll have I have a baby sitter. For goodness sakes I felt sick. Then I thought about just leaving her with my parents or day and yeah, I may have thrown up a little.
Oh dear. :(

Rambling/Head Spinning
Today is obviously May 17. Which means I have just under 3months.
Just.
Under.
Three Months.
THREE.
I just feel like sitting and staring at a piece of blank wall. At the same time I want to clean and organize the nursery or the kitchen or make some paper or go for a walk or crawl into a ball under the crib and just stay there to hide for a little while.

First Craft of the New Apartment

Forgotten Photos
I forgot to post these the other day!! Oops!
This is my beautiful daughters heart rate. They used quite a lot paper, but it was amazing and scary to see.
Abrocombie & Fitch
For some odd reason the poor CEO of A&F is catching a lot of heat for something he said. It may be because he only wants people with 'wash board abs', the cool skinny kids, and skinny beautiful people wearing his clothes. But come on didn't we all already know this? It was an unspoken fact!! I think what made this even worse is that, well two things actually:
1: It actually came out of the CEO's mouth
2: He looks like this...

Just your friendly trip to the Hospital
I thought about writing about this earlier. But stress and superstition held me back. Ready set here we go...
This is going to be a little bit long...
Since Saturday morning I have barely felt SweetPea move. She has moved just a little, slapping my bladder once in a while, but nothing like pre-Saturday.

Food Safety During Pregnancy
This is very important!!
Now that you're expecting everything you eat effects that little one growing inside you. Remember in my post about gestational diabetes? Keep in mind that you need tons of fruits and vegetables to stay in top shape. But when it comes to meat, if your a die hard carnivore, you have to be very careful!

What to wear???
As you get bigger your closet gets smaller, you feel like a huge balloon and all anyone sees of you is your belly. That last part isn't entirely true, but it feels that way more often then not.
Pintrest of course has tons of ideas for maternity outfits. Not all of them are cute so I have decided to put together my own maternity clothes board, as well as show off some of the outfits I have worn! Keep in mind my style is a bit boho/hippy, but I do like a little business style every now an then!

Hey Mommas!
How was your mothers day?? Was it your first? Second? Twenty-third??
Did you get anything special, out of the ordinary, or just special for you?

Gestational Diabetes
I apparently have it.
It makes me angry. I eat very healthy (most of the time). I'm pretty sure it's because I had a banana strawberry smoothie the night before (literally only a banana and four strawberries) that caused my reading to be a bit off.

Not Ready
That's the phrase that keeps popping into my head this morning.
I'm not ready for a little one. Financially really. While I believe you can almost never be fully ready for a baby, I especially feel unready.

Steel Cut Oats Stove Top Breakfast
I have fallen in love with Steel Cut Oats.
So has SweetPea ;)
Still love my regular oat meal, but steel cut is so tasty. I like to mix mine a little different:

Smoothie or Perfectly Melted Icecream?
Breakfast began calling my name this morning. My cabinets are a bit under stocked, a grocery trip is being planned. I need to make my two to four week menu plan and write out the grocery list that is going to be needed.
Anyways! Sorry I ramble so much, one of my pregnancy side effects.
I decided on a shake. My blender had a perfectly different thought.

Down Sizing
I am moved. Thank goodness. I detest moving!!! But this is a good move. I went from a big apartment to a much small (affordable, great for baby and me apartment ;] ). Now comes the down sizing part though.
