Whether or not you write them down, or tell others there is a strong chance that you will make New Years Resolutions. Lose weight, read more, cook at home more yada-yada. Generally the resolutions are generic, yet occasionally meaningful and inspiring. I don't think I shared mine last year, and the only reason I'm sharing them this year is so that I can keep myself accountable through you.

Do you hear that?
It's raining, and it sounds beautiful.
Well aside from the Lord of the Rings The Return of the King that is currently playing in the background.
But it is still raining and it sounds beautiful. LittleMiss is sleeping. Ludwig is curled up next to me. And I'm about to crawl into bed. This is my last day of being a lazy mom, a depressed mom, and a messy home...renter. I've been very reflective and inflective as of late. Quite a few Exciting things have taken place, a few I can't share and a few I can.

Motivation Board


I am very serious about working out and staying healthy. Not to say that I don't have cheat days!! But now this are going to be different much different. My health, diet and working out now also affect my daughter; affecting her food supply (she's a breastfed baby!!), and her outlook on health.
I am posting these as a motivation for me and also for other mommies!
Pre-labor I really didn't focus to much on exactly what I ate. I did eat healthy but I did not exclude certain foods, which I probably should have.
{Little side note for the breastfeeding mommies: Lots of babies are sensitive to foods so it can be best to cut the most common ones out a month or farther out before your due date. I really wish I would have, honestly. Pre-pregnancy my lactose intolerance was coming back as well as having gluten-sensitivity pop up. Now that SweetPea is here the symptoms have started to slowly come back. On top of them affecting me they are affecting her, making her very fussy with a side of spit up issues. I highly suggest cutting out all dairy, sadly this also includes goat/sheep, soy, eggs and gluten.}


I meant to take an 'after baby' picture sooner that 20days, but I was a little too wrapped up in Sweetpea. And trying to sleep. ;) Also the above picture is not of me sucking in. That's right, some how I still have control of my abs!! I'm crediting that to doing sit up/crunches/leg lifts with every work-out and almost everyday.
Since it turns out that SweetPea is intolerant of dairy(which also means no goat/sheep), soy, eggs and gluten, this diet change will help significantly with my weight-loss journey. In fact I will be adopting a more vegan/vegetarian/raw diet although I will be eating meat. The company I partnered with to start my own business is having a weight-loss competition!! While I won't be one of the BIG winners I am really excited! Not to mention I am very excited to share my journey with you!
The Motivation Board is going to be hung up in the kitchen/dining area so that I can see the reminder every day! Hopefully you noticed that I don't have a POUNDS lost area; instead I have INCHES lost. Inches are more telling than pounds and a scale because muscle weighs MORE than fat. For example you could weight 125lbs wearing a size five pants, start working out get to a size 2pants but weigh 135 or 140. I'm sure I'll update the board, adding things around the frame so every time I do I will make sure to show you!!

New Work Out Routine
Oh goodness..
Good-good-goodness..
Oliver and I are finally getting on the same page.
ONE: He does not like small spaces.
TWO: He will not walk up stairs.
But he does great out in the openness of the apartment. The apartment which I already want to change again, furniture wise anyways. I'm craving a purple sofa, a round dining table, and an iron head board. The last two will happen, I've got to just get some purple accessories instead of a sofa. As much as I love purple, I don't know that I could handle a purple sofa for too long.
So I'm pretty sure I gained like six pounds last week. Hence the NO weight-loss photos!
Which brings us to the new work out routine:
*Walking Oliver every morning and night, about half a mile(I think I'm not good at guesstimation).
*Carrying Oliver up FOUR flights of stairs.
*At least three times a week going to the gym.
*Running at least four times a week. I"m going to start training for a marathon.
Now the new Diet:
*No gluten. My body honestly doesn't like it. SO the most I'll have it is once a week.
*Barely ANY dairy, unless it's organic and even barely then.
*Only organic meat.
*And the KEY: as much LOCAL as possible.
This girl is kinda goin' hippy.

Coach Potato
Ah the couch potato. I have not been one of those in a long time but hey here I am layin on the couch, texting and watching Teen Mom.
Which by the way, whats her name...Amber? I'm worried she's fried her brain with drugs. As she sits there talking to her grief counselor she seems very stoned. I know that's a little harsh.
I have a bunch of photos to upload. but it took about half an hour for me to upload about six of them to face book, so you will have to wait until tomorrow..
In the mean time I started my diet to today..
Then the end of the day happened and I crashed.
Why? You may ask.
I'll tell you:
About 750 a guest came into the store and I 'volunteered as tribute' ;) .They were a very friendly couple and I had absolutely no problem helping them. They even purchased a table and 8chairs and our repair/replace plan. Fantastic. :)
I didn't leave til about...930. I was starving. I ate 5cookies. I could barely stop myself. So my two days of starting the diet will be turned into four days. Woohoo. No pain no gain right?? Needless to say I was a little flustered after I left work.
An old close friend of mine ended up texting me and asking if I wanted to go to dinner and catch up; I agreed. So we'll be meeting for dinner at 7pm tomorrow. I will be very strictly sticking to the diet. All I can eat is fish and two veggies. So that is all that's gonna happen. :)
I also can't believe I'm doing this but here are my Start Pictures. The Weight Loss pictures will be uploaded Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, you can guarantee one of those days. I don't know my starting weight. And I won't be using a scale for a while. Less pressure that way. Although come July 1st I will have to; we are doing a weight loss competition and it ends that day.
Well I'm rambling so here are the pictures, I guess I should attempt to go to sleep after all I was just
informed it's one in the morning. Don't know how that happened!!

Mallows??
This gal made some marshmallows tonight.
Crown-Mellows. :)
The batter tasted amazing. But I forgot something... The light corn syrup. Although I have no good excuse I will say I was slightly flustered by a friend of a friend.
But hopefully they will still be amazing. I know that the Beer (you did read that correctly...BEER)-Mellows will be amazing. I offer a bit of advice, Heineken, is very carbonated. This beer I would suggest leaving out on the counter over night.
I'll be posting the recipe after I get my reviews on it. ;)
Oh another bit of advice:
A fifth of Crown is exactly one cup. (according to my measure-rs though..)

I think I owe you a bit of a recap of this week!
I will be switching from T-Mobile to Sprint and getting the iPhone 4. No 's', just 4. :)
My mommy and step-daddy will probably join my plan.
I've decided I would like a short term room mate. (I have got to get back on my feet, and being financially screwed over isn't a big help..)
I went in to work to day for a few hours to get some extra training in. I had a good time, and was able to get some work done on work for work and school work.
I forgot to take my sleeping pill again...and tan... Not happy about either of those things. I think I'm just going to have to buy tanning somewhere...
I lost three pounds!! Although after these marshmallows I'll probably gain it back. But I will be going grocery shopping...sometime soon(getting low on the grub), and I'll be getting much healthier choices. I love healthy.
I'm a healthy-eco gal.
I'm also a bee fanatic. HoneyBees are amazing. Don't forget that.(I'll give more details later)
Ugh, I HAVE to make myself get some sleep. Night!!

Pardon my Emotions
I'm sure you greatly noticed how pathetic my last post was; but hey it happens.
As one of my best friends would say: I used my girl card.
(I'm still not entirely sure what that means..)
Anyways, as I'm sure you guess, I had to give my puppy doggy up. It is a hard but true fact. With my schedule being what it is, its not fair to her. She needs to be able to be a puppy dog and run and play and get all the love she can. So I gave her to a good friend of mine from high school. He has a ton of acres she can run and have fun on!
(I'll be honest, I did cry...a little...more than a little..)
Oh that "date" I was pretty excited about, pretty sure I was [in a sense] stood up. Yeah I give up on this guy. :/ I actually give up on all guys at this moment. My life will consist of focusing on school and work. And probably decorating my apartment.

The weight-loss challenge has been really fun. It's interesting to see how everyone is doing this and taking it so seriously. I'm proud of my co-workers, it's good to see that they do care about their health, and that we can work as a team. It's almost boosted morale, or maybe that's just spring... ;)
My sleeping pill helped a lot. I only woke up once, but was a little groggy this morning. Again though I have forgotten to take it. That will be happening soon. I'm hoping I can get on a sleep schedule, it would be a huge help.
(I'm also going to invest in a LOT of lavender items! Shhh, don't tell ;] )

I'm going to take my sleeping aid, and try to get some sleep. There's some chopping and snack packing I've got to do in the morning!!

Easter Recap
This is probably one of the best Easters I can remember.
That's me and my mommy. We didn't have a single fight!! Aren't you proud? I sure am. :)
It was fun. I even played my Spotify Playlist "Whatever I Want" and she really only said anything about it when the f-bomb was dropped. Other than that there were no complaints. I was proud of her. It probably helped that Prince was on the play list...
Well I went to church with mom and JimBo and one of his co-workers. Who is currently watching my puppy doggy...I miss her terribly!!!

I've still got to find a place for her. My schedule just isn't fair for her right now. I work too many hours and she needs love and I'm tearing up thinking about this again. I don't like it. And she doesn't deserve to be in a cage. FML. Sums it up right??
Yeah you know those people who their pet is like their child?? Yeah I'm one of those. I just don't buy her birthday presents, christmas or valentines presents.
Lets see at moms we had a LOT of laughs. It was fun. Jimmy and his co-worker went fishing. I tried to nap, (very unsuccessfully thanks to my uncle, and his girlfriend, and the tv).
Oh Monday at work, we started a weight-loss competition! So yes I slightly binged this weekend. I weighed in at 134, my goal is to tone down and not build too much muscle mass. This is gonna be tons of fun.

motivation-less
seriously.
no motivation at all.
i'm chicken pecking at the moment as well.
i went to get my nails done today and the shop was closed, so now i have to fine a time to go in and get them taken care of or find someone to switch me shifts. Then I went over to the FayTown mall and bought some stuff for a Valentines party my friends and I are planning. :) ! More details as it gets closer.
Then as I was on my way to the gym, a friend from high school asked if I wanted to go shooting. It was tons of fun, and I'm pretty sure my first time to shoot a 22. :) After that I headed to the gym. I have never been so lazy AT the gym. I'm also not sure if this is sad or not but I'm starting to know a few of the workers there, which means I'm going a lot, but you can't really tell. I have ate and drank so much this holiday season it's ridiculous. My friend SH is pretty amazing, he made a work out plan for me. And will be showing me the exercises that I don't know, I think tomorrow night. I will in turn be showing BC! A new friend who is great!
Okay I'm going to go take a nap and hopefully have some motivation after.
by the way my weight yesterday was 134.2 . I'll be doing weigh ins every monday.h

Work Out: An Addiction
I went to the gym today. In fact I just got home from it. :)
Anyone who works out or cares about their health can pretty well agree with me on this one: working out can be an addiction.
I just love that I can breath deeper and knowing that I am taking care of my body makes me proud. Honestly when you take care of your body you just feel better. You're happier. After all I am a bit of a health nut, I think that what you put in your body you get out. Feed it healthly foods and you'll feel better, you'll have a sunnier disposition. :)
Anyways I have an addiction to working out, especially cardio. I love running and biking. One day I plan on running in a marathon. The only bad thing about working out is my metabolism shoots through the roof. I am not lying when I tell you I eat almost everything in sight. I ate an entire plan(9in. round) of angel hair pasta, salad, and two pieces of toast. And was still hungry... That was about two days ago.
Oh and I am finally brave enough to post weight loss pictures. Nervous, but hey my new moto is go big or go home.
Please excuse the messy-ness. This is a picture of my arm, well it's supposed to be the focal point. I have big arms and am going to be working on toning them down, or keeping the size but definitely strengthening them.
Here is my side picture, I am sucking in. But I am wanting to tone up. My goal is not a six pack but a smootier belly.
Oh with my new go big or go home statement, I went to best buy today. I think I know what tv, phone and laptop I want. The phone won't be 3D, which I could care less about, but it is htc and it's awesome. Now I just have to debate whether or not I'm going to cancel my tmobile contract and switch to at&t. But now that I'm thinking about it, I may wait a few months, when one company buys out another like verizon and altel for example the bigger company swallows the other.
What else happened today..
I had breakfast with BFTAG and his family. Love them. Went to Ashley Furniture's grand opening, had fun and food. Went to best buy like I mentioned. Worked out like I mentioned and yeah that is about it. But the best news is that I have been in a great mood all day!

Last time I weighed myself(like last tuesday) I was 129. I'll weigh myself tomorrow and we'll use that as my starting weight.
